NADMO Deploys Emergency Response Teams to Flooded Communities in Accra

NADMO has mobilised emergency response teams to assist communities affected by flooding in the Greater Accra Region following heavy overnight rains.
The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has deployed emergency response teams to several communities in the Greater Accra Region following heavy overnight rains that caused widespread flooding.
The affected communities include parts of Kaneshie, Accra New Town, and areas along the Odaw River basin. NADMO officers are working around the clock to evacuate residents and distribute emergency supplies.
"We have pre-positioned relief items and our teams are on the ground. We urge affected residents to cooperate with our officers and move to designated relief centres," said a NADMO spokesperson.
Citizens in need of assistance should call the NADMO hotline on 0800-11-3000.
